Hop Scotch Restaurant Review Cincinnati, OH

Whiskey Day is a holiday I never thought I’d participate in — But with Kentucky being so close to Cincinnati it’s only natural for the whiskey culture to spill over into one of my favorite “foodie” parts of the city— Clifton. 💁🏼Back in my old stomping grounds on Calhoun street is one hip whiskey bar with all the fixings’ — they have something here for everyone (including wine and over 60 beer taps) —

I went for the Whiskey Flight to not only celebrate #whiskeyday but also to order one of their amazing grilled cheeses! The sandwiches came out hot and crispy and were easy to eat — We also ordered the pretzels and beer cheese ☝️because I never say no to beer cheese ☝️ — They were really tasty and I’d totally order them again.

Did I mention that they have one of those cool garage doors that opens up when it’s nice outside? That’s the best— that’s also why these photos look so glowy— #PROTIP always choose the seat/table with the best lighting! — If your local this would be a great place to start out your evening for a date night. They have quite a few fun cocktails and the area is very walkable! #angieknowsthetruth
