This place is small (about 8 tables) and worth it!! They are usually booked far in advance so there is no sure way to get in without a reservation.
We went here and had great food, great wine, and great service. The employees are very nice and speak great english. You should know that in general service is much slower in Italy than in the USA but this place was pretty on top of things. I would recommend this place to anyone and would go back. Google maps led us the wrong way so we were a little late for our reservation and we had to wait about 20-30 mins for a table. So we sat outside and drank a few glasses of prosecco and they didn’t even charge us for them.
I loved reading the sign on the door that said

-NO PIZZA
Haha! That should give you a good idea of how authentic this place is! The people were very nice to us though. I think they appreciate it if you make your reservation and make a point to get there in a timely manner. Remember the Italians eat late so don’t think you will get a reservation before 7:30-8 PM!
5 out of 5 stars– If you are looking for a place to eat off a windy alley road in Florence than this is the spot for you! This is tucked away from a lot of the tourist traps and they are serving really good food! Make note to go to the bathroom before you come here. I was not able to use the toilet because it is too high up in the air and I am a short woman. LOL — that’s not enough to remove even 1/2 a star for that though! Just take note!
